In the '80s Anthony screen tested for a role on the NBC soap opera Another World but ultimately rejected the part because he didn't want to move from California to New York where the show was filmed. (edit) Anthony's Guiding Light co-star, Brittany Snow, has said that her least favorite story-line on the show was when Anthony's character, Jim Lemay, was killed off. She loved working with Anthony and says that she "learned a great deal from him." (edit) When Generations was cancelled in early 1991, Anthony and several other members of the shows cast and crew reunited on the short lived prime time serial Dangerous Woman. (edit) Anthony appeared in the pilot episode of Aaron Spelling's Nightingales. He was originally asked to play the role of a 19 year old kid but he didn't feel it would be believable, since he was actually 29 years old at the time, so he took a part with only 5 lines of dialogue. (edit) Anthony frequently attends the Guiding Light Fan Club Luncheon's, where he gets the chance to interact with fans of the show. Although he hasn't appeared on GL since late 2000, he still remains a favorite with female fans of the show. (edit)

Anthony: Anytime you can taste getting in front of the camera it's good for your ego, good for your self-esteem, and good for your pocketbook. (edit) Anthony: (on being supportive to his co-stars) People should be praised if they've done a good job. It makes you want to get up the next day. (edit) Anthony: (on starting his career as a model) At first I thought, 'No way. Me? Are you kidding?' I didn't know you could make a business out of it. When I found that out, and I knew that people wanted to take my picture, well that's all I needed to know. I went right into it. (edit) Anthony: (on his fondest Christmas memory) I remember the first Christmas my parents ever let me in on the fact that there's no Santa Claus. This was the first time they let me wrap packages with them and stay up all night. I must have been about 12 or 13. My parents broke open a bottle of champagne and they let me have two sips. I felt like I had graduated or something, and the presents never looked so good under the tree, and my little sisters' faces never looked so bright as when I saw them open the packages. Because then I really understood. It was all about giving, and it was all about Christmas. The spirit of giving. Without wanting to receive. It was beautiful! (edit) Anthony: The human mind is like a pencil. It can always be sharpened to be used at maximum efficiency, but shortly thereafter will become dull again. (edit)
