April wants to star in action films and dramatic movies. (edit) Before April got into acting, she worked at a veterinary clinic in California as a technician making $10 an hour. (edit) April is very outdoorsy, she loves camping, all of that stuff. (edit) April loves to cook when she's not working. (edit) April loves to hike and mountain bike every time she can. (edit)

April (On her former job): It was hard. I'm thinking, 'Why am I getting up in the morning?' But I thought, 'It's just a matter of time.'
(edit) April (Talks about what she would like to see happen to Lori by the end of season 1 of Kyle XY): That's really tough. It would definitely have to do with Lori's love interest on the show. I would love for them to have a breakthrough in communication. They started off playing games and it was always a power play. They're finally starting to starting to get to know each other to decide, "Are we going to be friends? Are we going to be together?" I feel like the reason he is hesitant has a lot to do with stuff going on with him and how he grew up as a child. I guess I would like to see there be a breakthrough in that and that somehow she could help him and get him to talk about it.
(edit) April (Tells if she could work with any actor or actress, who would she want to work with): Well growing up the ones that I always liked the most were Sally Field and Meryl Streep. I love the teen films because I always thought that was interesting, the teenage angst and drama. So that whole world and just the dark perspective of it was interesting to me. (edit) April (Talks about what her family thinks about her career): They're really supportive and happy for me. None of them are artistic whatsoever, it's a very business-minded family, so to them what I do is fascinating. (edit) April: (Talks about filming in Vancouver and being detached from home) I like it because we work such long days that I don't really have time to do anything else or have a social life anyways so all I really have to focus on is work. When I do have free time I love this city so much that if I can't be home in LA, I couldn't picture myself going anywhere else to work because its kind of the perfect place. It's away from everything and I can focus and I'm not really homesick here. (edit)
