This cartoon was aired on the Banana Splits and followed the adventures of a prince whose thrown was stolen by evil Bakar. With the help of firends with special gifts he manages to stop Bakar's evil plans. hide show

Of all the cartoons Banana Splits aired this was by far the best and over all entertaining. It is nice to be able to go back and appreciate true cartoon shows as they first appeared not like our cartoons of today which are all made via computers. There are repeated background scenes as our characters fly through the sky and even a few duplicated character scenes with the vocals changed. This was real cartoons, hookie now because we are so acclimated to the new way of creating cartoons but definitely classic. Well worth a few viewings at least to take one back to the 'good ole days'.

    Classic Hanna-Barbera. hide show

This list of cartoon shorts originally aired as part of Hanna-Barbera’s children’s show, The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. Each cartoon was around 6 minutes in length. The target audience was for children, but are endearing to the adults today that watched it as children. It’s interest is carried on by those of us who want our kids to share a part of our past.

Simple stories that may not interest the adult, but captivate a child and those of us who love to revisit our childhood. This show is not going to knock your socks off but it is classic Hanna-Barbera
