Archie continues to be in denial over the death of his beloved "Dingbat," and refuses to allow Stephanie to attend grief counseling. Meanwhile, Stephanie and others begin to sort through Edith's things.
Eventually, Archie walks into the bedroom, apparently for the first time since Edith's death, and sees her slippers on the floor. After he sees them, he finally confronts his feelings and really cries. Stephanie walks in and comforts Archie, and the two decide to visit Edith's grave.
