Arnold was released from the hospital on December 31, following successful surgery on his broken right leg after a skiing accident. (edit) Arnold broke his leg while skiing with his family in Sun Valley, Idaho in December 2006. Arnold was taken to a local hospital for X-rays and discharged with a fractured right femur.
