118 (Jamie's POV)Episode Number: 18 Season Num: 1 First Aired: Wednesday February 14, 2001 Prod Code: n/a |
*Season Finale* Jamie starts passing out flyers on the street, convinced that one in a hundred women that gets the paper will call him. Surprisingly, someone actually calls Jamie and meets with him at the coffee place, where she asks him about parties. Trying to pass an image other than his own, Jamie convinces Sasha and Rob to let him throw a party at their place, and bugs Sooz until she talks her brother into lending Jamie his DJ table. The party gets going but soon overcrowds, and Jamie's woman brings her huge boyfriend with her. A gigantic fight starts after Nicki and Sooz exchange insults once again and Alex tries to put a stop to it. The place is destroyed, and everyone's disappointed at Jamie. He has a heart-to-heart talk with Sooz, during which she tells him about the time she almost committed suicide. Jamie says she shouldn't do that, because there are people who care about her, and they kiss.

Jamie: Knackered Sasha darling.
Sooz: Y'know, Rob honey sometimes I find it exhausting being the perfect couple.
Jamie: Aw, I know it's hard sweetie. But just think how horrible it must be for everyone else, y'know, not being us. (edit) Alex: Y'know Nicki, the difference between you and me is that, I can actually talk to a guy and not want to get into his trousers. (edit) Nicki: What are you looking at?
Sooz: Oh, I just find it amusing, that's all. Y'know, Chris isn't interested in you, so he's got to be gay.
Nicki: Get out of my face Sooz. (edit) (Jamie and Sooz pretending to be Rob and Sasha)
Jamie: I suppose, really, the only people who would understand being us, would be like, Posh and Becks.
Sooz: Or Brad and Jennifer?
Jamie: Or Jennifer and Puffy? (edit)

The worst thing that happened during shooting was to Director (Brian Grant) who always operated the 2nd camera. One day he was filming backwards and he fell down the stairs and damaged his kidney. He had to have a few days off work to recover. This is according to Caroline Chikeze. It is not clear during which episode this happened.
