Macie is afraid of heights, that could explain why she fainted on top of the Statue of Liberty in Nurses Strike. (edit)
Ginger writes with both hands in this episode; she writes her paper with her right hand in the beginning, but near the end, she writes in her journal with her left hand. (edit)
We learn Dodie's real name in this episode. It's Deirdre Hortense. (edit)

Quotes

add »
Reporter #1: Eh, they say its a stage four stahcybotrys.
Reporter #2: No kidding! (edit)
Courtney: We have some company!
Mr. Gripling: Who is it?
Courtney: It's Ginger Foutley, Daddy! The "mold girl." (edit)
Newscaster: So you're saying you were unable to retrieve a mold sample?
Carl: Yes. (edit)

Trivia

add »
Mr. Gripling's first name is Prescott - but in "Kiss And Make-up", Claire says it's "a Gripling tradition" that the boys have first names beginning with B (so they can pass the baby blanket from generation to generation). (edit)
In "TGIF", when Ginger is sitting on the sofa in Courtney's home (or mansion...), Courtney turned the page the wrong way, unless she is reading a Japanese or Chinese book... (edit)
When the picture of the mold looking at Buzz and Lois, the bottom tile appears. But when the picture goes to the two looking at the mold, the tile below the one is missing. (edit)

Allusions

add »
Mold: F-13

This might be a reference to the fact that the day in the episode was Friday the 13th. (edit)
Lois' Car

Her engine was at the back because the engine of the car that she was driving looked like an old Volkswagen Beetle car, but nowadays, Beetle cars have the engines at the front, like many other cars. (edit)
