Ashley Bashioum is an American daytime actress, best known for originating the role of Mackenzie Browning on CBS's daytime drama "The Young and the Restless." She played the role from 1999 to 2002, and returned in 2004, but was fired in 2005 after the show was looking for a different actress to play the role.

Bashioum's credits include the feature film Little Big League and on the television series, The Shield. She also appeared in the Stereofuse music video for "Everything."

When she is not working, she enjoys horseback riding, skiing, hiking, running and rock climbing, and is on the swim team at LA Valley College.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bashioum moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin before moving to Minnesota. In February, 1999, she moved to Los Angeles after landing the role of Mackenzie. You know her form the Yound and the Restless. She was actually the season why I watched the Young and the Restless at the first place (Thad Luckinbill came later:P) She really knows how to bring some spirit in her character and keep me interested. She played Mac, and after that, I thought that the people who tried to play Mac, as Ashley did, failed deeply in it. Ashley has to come back as Mac, cause she's unreplaceable.
