Hopefully I'm asking in the right place.

I was wondering what happens when a series doesn't have an editor? One of my favorite animated series' from the 90s lacks an editor at the moment. It's old series so it's not currently in need of weekly updating, although some things are lacking like a gallery etc. I've contributed and tried to fix up some of the issues, where able, but I found it curious it had no editor.

When a series doesn't have an editor? What does that mean?

If you've contributed, you know that TV.com staff approves the submission.

When you or anyone else earns 80 CPs on a show, they become editor.

Due to copyright, you can't submit gallery images.

Thank you for your reply. The odd thing is one of the contributors has over 1000 points, but is not the editor, that was what I didn't understand. As you said, the submissions are cleared, so I'll keep trying to fix up the guide where able. xD

The system once showed if a person was editor and then retired, but no longer.

Okay, that makes more sense. Likely dealing with a retired editor. I understand it now. Thanks for clarifying.
