Astro learns about the 'Blue Knight', a mysterious robot that helps other robots that are mistreated by their masters. A robot woman is being chased by the Knight and sees Astro nearby. She turns human-looking and asks for Astro's help. The police show up from afar, which make the Knight disappear. The woman thanks Astro for his help, although he didn't really do anything. She shakes his hand. But somewhere far away, little does Astro know that he's being watched by a couple of guys in a high-tech building. They're plotting to put their plan, Project Mech 15, in motion. It consists of a wormhole that sends all robots near it to another dimension. They plan to get rid of them all. Meanwhile, O'Shay is on a plane, the Mach 15, going to a meeting. At the Airport Control Tower, a message comes onto the screen from the same woman Astro met in the beginning. She's explaining to them what the wormhole can do, and it sucks up one of their planes. Detective Tawashi and his police robots get the same message, along with the rest of the city. The woman demands to have every robot in the city set free or else she'll release the wormhole. She shows the picture to everyone of her and Astro shaking hands, tricking everyone that Astro took her side. Tawashi has no choice other than to drain Astro of his energy. Tawashi gets a human police team now and sends them to O'Shay's plane. Astro wants to help, but can't move. The Blue Knight comes to the rescue, bringing something to refill Astro's energy. Now, they both go after the plane. Once the human police see Astro and the Blue Knight break free, they start to fire at them. Though, the plane soon flies into a thunderstorm, where the police pull back. It's now up to Astro and Blue Knight to stop the plane. Astro figures out the wormhole projector is located on the outside of the plane. Although, the projector goes off anyway, and Astro with Blue Knight's help struggle to keep the plane from being sucked in. Astro locates a landing space on a 3-mile highway. The wormhole disappears after a while, and Astro and Blue Knight land the plane just in time. Blue Knight disappears once he hears the police's sirens.
