Ok, I'm not going to be much help here, but I remember a kids TV show that used to be on in the afternoons (quite possibly ABC) which involved a young boy living with his grandmother. There was this weird weathervane object on to of a barn which used to light up at night and turn around point at the boy. It freaked the crap out of me as a kid. I think it may have involved some involvement with aliens, but not sure. I don't think I got all the way through the series to find out.

Very vague description i know, sorry about that, but I'd really like to work at what the show was as it still haunts me!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I believe the show you are looking for is called "Children Of The Dog Star".

It was produced in New Zealand in 1984. There were 6 episodes (30 minutes each).

It was about a young girl who moves to a farm of one of her relatives in a rural town. There was this weird weather vane on their barn that moved and made strange noises. It turned out that is was part of an alien that crash landed on Earth.

Sadly, TV New Zealand has stated that the show is unavailable due to "complex copyright issues" - whatever they are???

Me and my friend were talking about a show that we remember, it had a puppet monkey in it named emma, that sat on a lady's knee. She thinks it was an Australian show set in the early 90's. Anyone able to help with what it was called?

I'm looking for a name of a movie in which had live puppets(something like the muppets) which had a dog, white scragy cat, and a donkey. and they travelled from farm to farm having more animals joining them. the donkey reminded me of eeeaaw, as he was always sad and miserable,. If anyone can give me help would be good.

    Hi MelaniePlevey,

It sounds like "The Muppet Musicians Of Bremen". It was actually a 1972 Jim Henson movie. I thought that it was from the 1980s (until I looked it up).

    Hope this is helpful.

Hi, similar to other people's questions - I've been searching everywhere for the name of a show that I used to watch in the 90's. It had something to do with a family of apes/monkeys in the jungle. I think there was a teapot that used to always get broken and there were trees deep in the jungle that could talk. If I remember right, the characters were people in costumes with makeup. I found something on the internet that says that it might be called 'Swinging' but I have found no images or videos to be sure that it is the right one.

    Thanks

Okay, how about this one. There was an early 80's kids drama about a gold mining community out in the bush. The main character was a boy who'd moved there with his parents and sister. The gold mine was called 'The Golden Bucket'. Any ideas on this one?
