Hi. I'm trying to remember an Australian comedy?/drama? TV series that was made in the late '90s to early 00's. The distinctive feature of this show was that the scenes in each episode were not shown in chronological order. Typically the episode would start with a scene that chronologically was near the end of the story, followed by scenes that happened earlier and earlier, though probably not in strict reverse chronological order. Eventually the story would be revealed and the conclusion would be played in its correct chronological position at the end of the episode. I think the show was set in a small Australian town and each episode was independent of the next however my memory of the show is so faint I could be wrong in a number of details. The fun thing (for me) about the show was trying to imagine how the characters got into their situations before the show revealed the reason.
