Dude I had the worst dream about this movie.

It turned out to be a modern, horrible, romance comedy, except with bending, and none of the characters from the show. Just the regular attractive blond girl and Mr. Right.

It seemed so real.... *shudder*

I still wonder how they're going to take a whole Season and compress it into 2-3 hours.

My two cents on how book 1 in movie form could be structured:

Critical story elements:

-Aang being found in the ice.

-Aang speaking with Roku for the first time and learning about the comet.

-Aang and Zuko's past, like from the storm episode.

-The events at the north pole.

And of course throughout all this they need to develop the characters while Zuko frantically chases Aang from the south to the north pole.

Stuff that might be important (especially to later books):

-Introduction of minor characters (like Suki), who even though we don't see them often, they are part of all three books.

-Aangs first encounter with firebending and its effects on him.

It'll be interesting to see how it's done in the end, particularly how they show that time has been spent travelling, etc.

they may leave jet and suki out, depends on how long the film is and what mike double d and bryan k say.

Thank you. And High00Lord said he would pin this given it becomes popular enough. Once some actors names are released it will definitely set off conversation.

I think you have it pretty much correct. The plot will also have to switch between Zuko and Aang. The parallel between them is crucial to the story. And what about the Blue Spirit, its hard to imagine them dropping that.

Ugh, not this again (someone made an issue out of this in another thread). The fact that the kid's Greek shouldn't matter. As long as he's can portray Sokka well, that's all that counts.

Not railing on you specifically. I'm just tired of hearing this. Btw, I hear that Baldwin (Iroh) knows a neighbor kid trying out for Sokka. Same guy?
