i cant wait for this episode i hope that zuko will join the gang it would be nice to finally have a person who knows all the skills...i hope zuko will teach aang some of the firebending but aang hasnt mastered all of the skills yet it takes years to fully do that

I think that Zuko will end up joining the gang, to teach Aang firebending, the only element he has yet to master. Also, Aang will most likely have to give up Katara, because his love for her will ground him in the physical world, and the Avatar is the bride between the spirit world and the physical.

Zutara fans, this is YOUR episode! I know I was excited when I saw that preview of Katara and Zuko together!
Of course, Kataang fans are probably a little depressed, but the odds were against them. At the very beginning of the show, the pair was unimaginable, but as the story has progressed, more and more clues and events have been drawing evidence towards the pair's future!

Ok, ok, I DO agree that in the beginning Zuko and Katara were enemies, because he was after Aang, and they even had a battle and Zuko kidnapped her twice...
BUT By now Zuko has kind of given up on the Avatar. There's still a little spark, (he climbed up on the roof and seemed hopeful when he found the flyer when Appa was missing) but he's pretty much given up. So it's really quite possible he'll join the avatar's group. (his hatred for Azula and the fire nation in general has grown)
Plus there are the other clues about the pair people have said alread. Opposites attract and yada yada yada.
The revelation that I had was this:
Remember the episode Aang accidently burned Katara, and then she put them in the river and her burns healed? I think it's a little foreshadowing, that Katara is going to heal Zuko's scar!

ZUKO JOINS AZULA ON THE SIDE TO POWER

WOOT! I saw a preview for this episode. Two of them actually! Zuko and Katara get stuck in a cave. Do I see romance! Hope so! Aang's also training with Guru Pathik. Dialogue:
Aang: I can't give up Katara! I love her!
Guru: If you ever want to go into the Avatar State again, you must!
(Somthing along those lines)

I can't wait! *fangirl screams*

i have a feeling this is going to be the best episode ever so far! I was so excited when i saw the preview. I am counting down the days!!! I hope Katara and Zuko end up together, even though he has sort of been the bad guy for 2 seasons now, I still love him.

Ah, but your all forgetting Jeong Jeong the Deserter. It's his destiny to teach the avatar firebending. Maybe what he did in episode 16 was all he was supposed to , but I don't think so after watching the episode again. And don't forget the seer episode. Katara has already fallen for Aang.I suspect a "it's not what you think" scene will happen. Nick. will draw out the drama of teen-heartbreak and such. It appeals to the "target audience".

Katara is holding the water Master Pakku gave her... the water with UNIQUE HEALING POWERS Oh yeah! I think Katara will heal his scar, maybe not in ths episode, but soon... since its only fate!

My Hopes Are As Follows:

Zuko and Katara become friends (Yay Kataang)
Zuko joins the Gaang (Zutara does not work)
Iroh Does not die (Breaks down in tears at the thought)
Zuko defeats Azula (Yeah Go Zuko: The once and Future King/firelord)

!!!...this is sooo awsome, I've always imagined Zuko turning good guy and teaching Aang fire-bending. But I personally hope his scar isn't healed *shiver* Zuko just isn't Zuko without it

I am so happy that this episode is finally so close! I heard about it a while ago and I am pretty sure Zuko fits the description that the fortune teller gave Katara ^.^ Hopefully they will end up together

While yes Zuko turning "good-guy" would be obvious he would land on the Avatar's side. I am still thinking it's going to take something HUGE to be that final push. I'm thinking a death...Zuko's mom or Uncle Iroh.

That said, if you want to talk relationships. All you need to do is look at the elements.
Katara (Water) / Zuko (Fire)
Aang (Air) / Toph (Earth).

They each are each other's opposite element.
Opposites attract after all.

Not to mention, Aang and Toph are the same age (12). And while we do not know Zuko's age yet, he seems to be the same or slightly older than Katara.

Too many coincidences for the pairings not to happen.

Yeah, they're trapped in a cave... but nick likes to build up on the suspense, maybe Katara is just curious about Zuko's scar. A relationship can't develop that quickly.

u guys are really slow. i knew zuko would join aang from when i saw the seige of the north pole part II. it's pretty obvious. and zuko and katara will fall in love. if not, then aang and katara will. also, katara will heal zuko, and zuko will teach aang firebending. it's so obvious.
