Wong won the 2008 Outstanding Television Actor at the Asian Excellence Awards for Law & Order: SVU. (edit) Wong appeared in the movies Father of the Bride I and II as Howard Weinstein.BD Wong plays an assistant wedding planner in this comedy, which stars Steve Martin. In the sequel, his character is no longer a wedding planner but a wacky home decorator. (edit) Wong attended Lincoln High School before graduating from San Francisco State University. I've always had tremendous support from my parents. I think there's a myth that gay people have lousy relationships with their parents.
