Trivia

add »
The Aliens that kidnap Sheridan are called Striebs. This is a nod to Whitley Strieber, a science fiction writer that JMS is quite fond of.

The Striebs would later be connected to the Shadows, as one of their dark servants. (edit)
Factual Errors: While discussing different gravities helping or hindering interplanetary baseball championships, Dr. Franklin states that Mars has a gravity field "forty percent less than Earth's" which would make it 0.6 G. Not so. Mars´ gravity is actually 0.37 G, which conforms very roughly to forty percent of Earth´s gravitation. Just a slip of the tongue none of the disputants noted in the heat of this worthy argument. (edit)

Allusions

Ivanova: Do you know who I am?
In ancient German legends, the god Odin had two ravens called Hugin ("thought") and Mugin ("memory"). The raven on Ivanova's shoulder then would be Hugin, forecasting events for later in the season. (edit)

The part of the plotline for this episode, Sheridan being captured on an alien ship, pales in comparison to three other parts of the episode.
