One the the PPG shots by the telepath goes through the floor of the air duct. In "Grey 17 Is Missing" Garabaldi claims that PPGs are used because they don't penetrate hulls. The outer hull is presumably stronger than the air duct so this is not necessarily an error. (edit)

Franklin: What about Epsilon 3? During the war we evacuated a lot of the wounded down there for safe-keeping. Now, I've spent a lot of time looking around, there's enough power down there to broadcast clear to the Rim.

Franklin: Yeah, you could do that, yeah.
Ivanova: I mean, it's the logical choice. Anybody could see that in about two seconds. I mean, only a complete fool would fail to see that.
