| Writer: | J. Michael Straczynski |
| Director: | John Lafia |
| Star: | Claudia Christian (Susan Ivanova), Bruce Boxleitner (John Sheridan), Bill Mumy (Lennier), Stephen Furst (Vir Cotto), Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar), Jason Carter (Marcus Cole), Richard Biggs (Dr. Stephen Franklin), Peter Jurasik (Londo Mollari), Patricia Tallman (Lyta Alexander), Mira Furlan (Delenn), Jerry Doyle (Michael Garibaldi), Jeff Conaway (Zack Allan) |

Bruce Boxleitner and Mira Furlan are the only regular stars to appear in this episode (except for flashbacks from a previous episode). Even more, Mira Furlan only appears in one scene, standing in the background, without saying a word.
(edit)
Each act of this episode plays in real time.
(edit)
This episode was originally titled "A Passing Shadow". It was only renamed after the episode was edited - and all scenes that were not part of the interrogation had been cut out, making "Intersections in Real Time" a more fitting title.
(edit)
This is the only episode of the series that Claudia Christian did not appear in while she was still a member of the cast.
(edit)
Joe Straczynski stated that had he know for certain that season five would have occured, this episode would have been the season four finale.
(edit)
Recording: You will co-operate with the state, for the good of the state and your own survival. You will confess to the crimes of which you have been accused. You will be released and returned to the society a productive citizen if you co-operate. Resistance will be punished, co-operation will be rewarded.
(edit)
William: No! You have no rights. There's no courtroom here, Captain. No tribunals, no attorneys, no justice, no mercy, no fairness, no hope, no last minute escape. You will walk through that door when you confess and not one second before.
(edit)
William: You have been interrogated before?
Sheridan: Yes.
William: Anyone I know?
Sheridan: You'd be surprised. (edit) William: The truth is sometimes what you believe it to be, and other times what you decide it to be. My task is to make you decide to believe differently. (edit) William: It does prove though how everything is a matter of perspective. You see what you think is daylight, and you assume it's morning. Take it away, you think it's night. Offer you a sandwich, if it's convenient, you'll think it's mid-day. The truth is fluid, the truth is subjective. (edit)

William: You have been interrogated before?
Sheridan: Yes.
Here Sheridan refers to his interrogation by Sebastian in "Comes the Inquisitor." Intruigingly, one of the questions Sebastian asked was whether he would be willing to sacrifice his life "in the dark where no one will know or see." -- a choice that confronts Sheridan here. On another note, Wayne Alexander, who played Sebastian, guest stars in this episodes as the Drazi. (edit) Episode Title: Intersections in Real Time
According to producer, J. Michael Straczynski the title refers to the act breaks in the episode. Everything was filmed in real time with no times. Act breaks are, thus, intersections in real time. (edit)
