Chronologically, the series begins with the TV movie "In the Beginning" Personally, I would not recommend starting there Since it was produced between seasons 4 and 5, there were some things taken from earlier seasons that will be spoiled for you if you start there.
Here's what I would recommend: Start with "The Gathering" the 2 hour premiere movie that led to the creation of the series. Then Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 then into Season 4 about midway through season 4 (i'm not precisely sure where) is the next TV movie: Thirdspace. Then resume season 4 go to season 5, see "Objects at Rest" then watch "The River of Souls" "A Call to Arms" You could next watch Crusade ( The spinoff that didn't last) or go onto the Lost Tales, then finally "Sleeping in Light" The last episode of season 5.
A s for when to watch "In the Beginning" That's a bit tough to figure out. I've been told the best time to watch it is midway through season 4.
Hope this helps. |
