Baretta: Well now, Billy my boy, that sounds like it's goin' to require some serious negotiation on your part.
Billy: Well I'll take care of that, a little negotiation, honey I, you know, I like a table like that for my apartment. I'll tell ya what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna give you eight dollars for that.
Baretta clears his throat, ehm ehm.
Billy: Not only that, I'll buy the unfinished wood, the sandpaper, the varnish, the stain, the works. I'll make it nine dollars. Eh what are you two scalliwags doin' huh? Uppin' the price. What's goin' on here?
Baretta: Wait a minute, I think I hear a little somethin'. I know I hear somethin'. Well looka here, what happened to you?
Foley: That cat got loose in the station house, made a shambles of my desk Baretta. You know someone should teach that cat some manners.
Baretta laughs
Billy: Hey Foley, did I ever tell ya about the time that I fought off a certain pole cat with a flyswatter, people came out of the walls to see it.
Baretta: You know what darlin', I think we're gonna have to get this young lady a husband.
Billy: I'll drink to that.
Baretta: You'll drink to anything.
Foley: Ah! I think I need another tetanus shot!
Baretta & Billy laugh. (edit) Baretta: This ole Autralian nose started doin' a little diggin' okay.
Brubaker: Do anything you want to do, in the meantime I got problems of my own. I got a stripper is knocked off in an alley behind a place called the Blue Note last night 7 o'clock, you know that. I spent nine hours canvassing on this thing and I can't come up with a single eye witness. (edit)
