Harry: Let's just have a drink, you know a guy could waste his whole life on shouldness and goodness.
Baretta: Drinking ain't gonna change nothin' Harry.

Mazurski: I had a run in with one of my drivers, Jim Rogers.
Baretta: Jim Rogers will testify to that.
Mazurski: Why don't you ask him.
Baretta: Joey Tonelli admitted that he beat up your wife.
Mazurski: Well what's all this garbage about an alibi.
Baretta: He admitted it, just before he died. Why don't you and me, go talk to my boss. You got a right to remain silent, if you give up that right anything you say or can will be used against you in a court of law, and all the rest of that jive. (edit) Baretta: Here's your department, that's my badge. If I don't come back for it in 30 days, it sticks.
Brubaker: Baretta you make a move against that guy you do it legal or I'll have you thrown in jail.
Baretta: Fair enough. (edit)
