Which one do you think is better - Batman or Batman Beyond. I think Batman Beyond is better because Batman Beyond looks better and has better weapons. He can fly and he can cloak himself. I also like Batman because he's the original one and not the fancy, new one.

Batman, for sure, he's just the one I grew up on, I don't really like the new 1, except his suit, but that's pretty Much it.

If it's between Batman Beyond and the old Batman - Batman Beyond. But Batman Dark Knight reigns supreme.

Gasp! I just checked IMDB and they're going to do a Dark Knight movie! With Christian Bale!! My favourite Batman and my favourite actor!!! The Universe is smiling down, up, and all around me now

B:TAS was more consistent, IMO. Batman Beyond was at its best in season 1.

I have to say Batman. I have problems with new people in shows like that. I'm more of a "go with the original guy."

The original is always better (except in dc comics and justice league)

Replacing the original person. (I wasn't offending BB, I thought it was cool. But I didn't like the concept of having a new Batman that wasn't Bruce Wayne.) And I agree with Seto1, the originals are usually better. Not always, but mostly.

Batman the Animated series will always be the best. I like Batman Beyond alot, but the original is better. And me personally, i like "The Batman", but it will never, EVER be better than Batman the Animated Series.

I would have to say I prefer Beyond. The original Batman TAS was a good series, but there were alot of episodes that just weren't interesting to me.

I like Beyond for its futuristic setting (I love seeing how time has passed in Gotham) and the fact that the villains are mostly new and cool, if lacking in memorability at times. The series doesn't just bring back old batman villains and "futurize" them to make a buck. Though I must say I would've liked to see what happened to a few (Two Face, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, etc.).

There is a great nostalgic quality in watching episodes like Out of the Past or Meltdown, and cool crossover episodes like The Call. I just feel it's a really solid series that reinvented the Batman universe and did it correctly. Alot of purists will surely say Batman TAS is superior (and it might be, just not to me I suppose) but you can't deny that Batman Beyond was well done in everything but the way it ended

I guess one of the main reasons I like this show is because when I was young I was really into superheroes and used to draw all the time, and I also liked bats alot (don't ask why). So seeing as there was already a Batman I drew a character named "Bat boy" and the costume was about 95% like the one in this show, wings and all. So even though it's technically unrelated to my idea, it's cool to see something you thought of as well brought to life.

Batman Beyond is a good show, but the original Batman the Animated Series, is, and will always be the best.
