Anyone else think that Batman Beyond would make for an awesome live-action movie trilogy after they finish the Begins movies? Heck, if they did it now, Will Friedle could probably play Terry. Maybe even put Kevin Conroy in some serious make-up to turn him into 'old bruce'.

Oh yeah! it'd make a great live action movie IMO. I thought their was some talk about it before, then they decided to just make Batman Begins. which is an excellant movie, I cannot wait for " The Dark Knight " ! =) But anyways, Hmm...I dunno about Will Friedle doing it. isn't he getting pretty old? and Terry suppose to be a teenager. so I dunno about that one.

Unless Paul Dini continues to rise in popularity like he has done through Lost and Countdown.

I highly doubt, they would do a live action movie on this series. First of all, it was only 50-somthing episodes. Also, the series was not as popular as Batman: The Animated Series. Most people are looking forward to the Justice League of America movie(if they ever finish making it) or just a collaboration w/ Batman and Superman.

I think a Batman Beyond movie would be awesome! Though the new Batman films would have to finish first (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, sequel). Then there's JLA like some of you have said. Then there's suppose to be a Superman Returns sequel (Superman: Man of Steel) and probably a sequel too cause Brandon routh signed a contract for 3 movies. THEN they might get around to a live action Batman Beyond kind of movie. Though apparently there also a Wonder Woman and Flash movie in the works and possibly a Green Lantern movie. Even though I like DC better than Marvel I must admit that Marvel is better at being able to make more superhero movies at once than Warner Bros.

If Batman Beyond was a more popular series, that ran a little longer, i could see it but it got stopped and cancled, so it won't happen. Would be nice, but to difficult.

I could see maybe a mini series or something like that. More in the budget aria of Smallville. I don't think they would make a movie. My main reason why I think it wouldn't become a movie is because making a movie about a future batman would confuse audiences. It would mark the end of the Bruce Batman and they wouldn't want that to end of for anyone to think it was over. There are way to many villain that they could use. And look there even using villains they have already used. The decision is a combination of want to make it and money. Just my opinion... By the way, I would love to see a live action Batman Beyond.

Naaaahhh. The suit makes the character to "techy". It's easily explained in a cartoon, but a movie would have to spend a lot of time explaining the background of the character.
