As far as I know the only movie is "Return of the Joker", and it goes at the end.

I'm doing the same , but starting at Batman TAS and working all the way through to Justice League.

Return of the Joker is the only movie and consider to be the real show finale, so you should watch it after all the episodes

It's no movie. It's a DVD called like that but it has the first 3 or 4 episodes.

The JLU episodes were made after Beyond, and seem to reference things that happen later than the series ever showed. This is the order that seems good to me, from Batman to JLU (Just started watching it all a few weeks ago, currently in Superman vol. 1)

    Batman TAS volumes 1-3

Mask fo the Phantasm (seems like it might take place earlier, but its not important continuity-wise)

Sub Zero (takes place after "Deep Freeze" in volume 3 but before the Mr. Freeze episode in Vol. 4)

    Superman TAS volumes 1-3

Batman TAS volume 4 (the Gotham Knights episodes)

    Batman Beyond

    Return of the Joker

    Justice League volumes 1-2

    Justice League Unlimited Volumes 1-2

The volume numbers are how the DVD sets break down. also you could throw in Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, and the superman brainiac movie, they'll probably fit anywhere after their respective series.

I would do a slightly different order.

    B:TAS volumes 1-2

Mask of the Phantasm (I think it works better here)

    B:TAS volume 3

    Sub Zero

    Superman TAS volumes 1-2

B:TAS volume 4 disc one (watch the second episode first)

    S:TAS volume 3

    Batman Beyond

    Return of the Joker

    Justice League volumes 1-2

    Justice League Unlimited Volumes 1-2

Yeah, but Tim Drake is in Knight Time of stas volume 3, and stas starts almost immediately after vol 3 of btas, and in between btas and tnba, 2 years past, so for that chunk of time, i'd do this.

BTAS volume 4 discs 1-3 (considered season 1 of tnba)

    STAS season 3

BTAS vol. 4 disc 4 (considered season 2 of tnba)

Great episode also it is kinda confusing as to classify it as a Superman episode even though it takes place in Gotham and features mostly Gotham villains.
Is Demon reborn? [featuring Ra's Al Ghoul] a Superman or Batman episode?

Wow, there are some great breakdowns as when to watch the series'. I just sat down and watched the whole first season of Batman Beyond yesterday. I actually don't have all of the DC animated series. I have all the Batman:TAS and Batman Beyond. I don't have any of the Superman and only the last two of JL (which would be JLU).

I plan on getting the first two seasons of Justice League eventually. They are hard to find in store locally so I will order them online, but I'm not in that much of a hurry because I watch it every night on Cartoon Network. Still, I'd like to have them for my collection.

And I guess I was just never sure about Superman. Maybe I will still pick them up at some point, but truthfully I've never been a huge Superman fan.
