This episode was Dana's last appearance in the regular series, although she also appeared in Return of the Joker and the Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue." (Terry offers Fingers an injection to turn him back into a normal gorilla)
Fingers: No. I want to remember.
Terry: Why?
Fingers: There'll be more (poachers). There'll always be more. But now... they'll have to deal with me first.
(Fingers walks away)
Terry: (to Bruce) He knows who we are.
Bruce: I don't think we have to worry. He's a kindred spirit if I ever saw one. (edit) Fingers: You're all alike. You, the doctors, Van Dyle..
Batman: Who's Van Dyle?
Fingers: You have a mother?
Batman: Yeah.
Fingers: I don't, because of Van Dyle. (edit) Bruce: Well, gorillas are a lot more smarter than most people realize.
Batman: This one was too smart.
Bruce: You want to follow it up? Be my guest.
Batman: I'll do that, just as soon as I buy someone a beefy burger. (edit) Max: Wait, I'm hungry.
Howard: Max, we just had dinner.
Max: So. If you were a gentleman, you would go buy me a beefy burger. You know. Pay me back for all those sodas and franckos, I give you at lunch.
Howard: I thought they were a gift. (edit) Terry: Did you hear a scream?
Dana: Hey, it's Gotham City. That's practically our theme song. (edit)

The name of the splicing agent, 'methyl glycose', is erroneous, in that in the story it is an enzyme, but its name denotes that it is a sugar. Enxymes have names that end in the '-ase' suffix, whereas sugars end in the '-ose' suffix. (edit)
