Joker's video threat about the sonic bomb was featured in the Batman Beyond movie Return of the Joker where Bruce uses it as a voice sample for comparison, with Joker's face reedited to match the movie's Joker.
(edit)
This episode is based on a special holiday-themed issue of the "Batman Adventures" comic book, a title based on Batman: TAS. The episode dramatized all but one story featured in the comic book, one that involved Mr. Freeze. Since the animated series had wrapped up the Mr. Freeze storyline involving his wife in the movie Subzero, the story was left out of this episode.
(edit)
Mark Hamill (The Joker), Ron Perlman (Clayface), Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn), Diane Pershing (Poison Ivy), Marilu Henner (Veronica Vreeland) and Liane Schirmer (Detective Renee Montoya) all reprise their respected roles from various Batman: TAS episodes.
(edit)
Most of the regular cast return from Batman: TAS. However, Tara Strong (listed in the credits as Tara Charendoff) takes over the role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl from Melissa Gilbert, who played the role in several episodes of the original series.
(edit)
Clearly this episode was meant to air after "Sins of the Father," which is when Tim Drake assumes the role of Robin.
(edit)
Obnoxious Kid: You're not the real Santa!
Bullock: (in Santa costume) Sure I am. Wanna see my gun? (edit)

Barbara changes into her Batgirl outfit in the mall when everybody runs from Clayface. Wouldn't someone find it odd that a woman is suddenly stripping down and putting on a Batgirl costume?
(edit)
Clayface is defeated by means of electrocution. However, in the two-parter episode in which he debuted "Feat of Clay," Batman states that electricity has no effect on Clayface's anatomy.
(edit)
When Commissioner Gordon leaves the diner at the end, the cheesesteak he ordered to go (or the bag it would be in) is nowhere in sight. You don't cram a big greasy cheesesteak, even if it's in your bag, in your coat pocket!
(edit)
The Joker doesn't seem concerned about the fact he's not wearing his ear mufflers when he detonates the sonic bomb - it should kill him along with everyone else and he's never been suicidal.
(edit)
When Harley and Ivy have Bruce under their control and on the shopping spree, Bruce signs the credit card receipts..."Bruce." But in reality, you need some semblance of first and last name.
(edit)
Joker's Goons
The Joker's goons resemble the Three stooges: Larry, Moe, Curly. (edit) Harley: Give me some sugar, baby!
Alluding to one of many famous lines from the movie Army of Darkness, spoken by Bruce Campbell. (edit)
