Who thinks here that over the edge is one the best batman cartoons ever I do, I love everything from the police invading the batcave , the death of batgirl , the villain lines , the arrest of the batgang , the fight between Batman and Bane , the ending scene with Barbara and Jim. By the way one question does Gordon know that his daughter batgirl because that what it seened to be hinting at what does ever one else thing.

Yep, "Over the Edge" is awesome; it's my favourite episode of TNBA. I also recently watched the DVD commentary and yes, the producers confirm that Gordon worked out Barbaras' secret.

So if Gordon knows his daughter is Batgirl does that mean he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman? He has to, right? Barbara spends all her time with Bruce, Dick and Tim and Batgirl spends all her time with Batman, Nightwing and Robin. I always believed Gordon knew Batman's identity but just didn't reveal it to him or anyome else. Anyone agree or disagree?

I always got the feeling that Gordon is pretty sure he knows who they are, especially about Babs. But he doesn't have any proof and doesn't want it. He's a good cop, and they are breaking the law. He knows that Gotham needs them but still hates that they are needed. Being a good cop he would have no choice but to arrest them if he knew for sure and could get them by suprise. But he knows he could never take down Batman, and doesn't really want to. So he acts like he has no clue.
