The New Batman Adventures,Pinky and the Brain,Freakazoid, the first season of pokemon, animaniacs. Whatever happened to good cartoons?
Forums: Batman Gotham Knights: Remember when KidsWb was actually good?
- What about before WB had a network and Batman TAS and Tiny Toons were on Fox. as well as gargoyles from disney and I'm sure some other stuff I liked. You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
- well the point was back when KidsWb was good. But yeah all children's programming was so much better back then. Ah nostalgia those were the days. But Kidswb and Disney suffered the worse. Disney Channel is a complete utter piece of over hyped annoying repetive cliche crap. Ands Kidwb shows are just stupid now. Hell Cartoon Network has turned into the obscured anime channel,Kidswb becomes for children 9 and younger and Fox sold their souls to 4kidsYou must be registered and logged in to post a message.
Oh yes I remember those days. I feel like an old woman as I type all about "The Good 'Ol Days" before KidsWB turned into gay-central. I was thinking about that very recently. WB had all of the great shows. Batman TNAS, Superman TAS, Pokemon (before it became redundant), Pinky and the Brain (which I still weatch on Toon Disney) and a few others that I can't remember but I know I watched. I think Tiny Toons or somthing like that was another show I watched on WB a while back around that time but I'm not totally sure. But what happened to all TV? I look at channles like KidsWB, Cartoon Network, Nickolodian, Fox, and at times Disney Channle today and wonder what has happened to television? It's all just one big attempt to be funny. Have you ever seen Johnny Test (KidsWB) or Camp Lazlo Cartoon Network)? Two retarted shows that try with all of their might to be funny. What happened to Cartoon Network's great times when they were playing some of the greatest comedy chartoons ever. Rememebr Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Lab, Grim Evil (before it turned inrto The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) and some episodes of Ed, Edd and Eddy (before it went downhill). Chartoons have been deminished by all of this. Now when children of today think of chartoons the last thing that would ever come to mind is serious and dramatic but the first word that would come to mind is funny (by their standards).pepsi_twist2008 wrote: The New Batman Adventures,Pinky and the Brain,Freakazoid, the first season of pokemon, animaniacs. Has anyone watched much Ben 10? I've seen parts of a couple episodes and it looked like it might not be too bad. and the other day I saw the credits because its on before SJ, and a bunch of people who worked on Batman TAS with bruce timm are working on it.You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
Cartoon Network is pretty dumb, if ya ask me, but kidswb was good once. Now we have yugioh pokemon and the like crumming it up, along with other mindless junk.

I look at what KidsWB had turned into and I shudder at what WB has become. You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
- The only thing good left on the cartoon channels is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Otherwise, all the shows that have real substance are the ones that are on reruns from atleast 5 years ago. Bruce Timm, you have forsaken us!! Give us something that is worth watching again on TV!! Bring back DCAU!!!You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
- Actually, while I'm at it, lets get Steven Spielberg and Genndy Tartakovsky to bring back some great shows! You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
I agree with you on the pouijnt of Avatar being a greta show. I have been watching it alot lately and without knowing it I have bought all of Book 2 on DvD asnd 3/4s of Book 3.mrshock13 wrote: The only thing good left on the cartoon channels is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I used to love marvel, but since I have gotten to know DC , I gotta say DC is tad better in my opinion.

I was never really much of a Marvel person (other than Spiderman).Kennymacdougall wrote: DCAU were the best animated shows ever broadcasted, heck I loved it even more than Marvel's animated shows.

I liked Spiderman, he was funny, and the Hulk, but that's about it when it comes to Marvel. I feel like DC has so many heroes I don't even know yet.

A_Kefka wrote: Incredible Hulk was good. The new version? I just saw that one last week and it was way better than Ang Lee's version. He looked remarkably like the comics and not too big. The green color was nice and Banner rocks

The DCAU owns Spiderman:TAS, X-men:TAS and X-men: Evolution! Marvel does good TV shows, but DCAU does amazing TV shows! You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
