Batman Mask of the Phantasm was released in theaters December 25th, 1993. It wasn't out for long though, because of complaints from critics.

The Joker:Have a seat Sal.Tell me what's on your so called mind.

Sal Valestra:It's the Batman. He's gone nuts. First we whacked Chuckie Sol,then Buzz,and now he's after me.

The Joker:You know I've been reading lately how old Guanoman is tight enough to snap. Oh wouldn't it be great if I finally driven him off the deep end Hahhhaahhahha!

Sal Valestra:This isn't a joke,Batman's knocking us off and your the only one that can take him down.

*Sal shows The Joker a brief case with 5 million dollars in it*

Sal Valestra:Look 5 million up front,with whatever you want to finish him off.

*Joker yawns*

The Joker:What do I look like pest control?

*Sal drops the briefcase and gets up*

Sal Valestra:Think you fool,after he gets me how long do you think till he gets you?

*Sal Valestra grabs hold of the Joker*

Sal Valestra:You know what I'm talking about. Your hands are just as dirty,dirtier!

*Red background is shown with the joker growling angrily*

The Joker:Don't touch me old man!

*The Joker says this menacingly then makes it a happy situation*

The Joker:I don't know where you've been. Hahaha! Oh Sal! No one could take a joke like you,of course I'll help you out.

*The Joker puts his arm around Sal's shoulder and pats him on the front pocket of his suit*

Sal Valestra:Really?

The Joker:Certamonte! No way is anybody going to hurt me pal Sal.

*Sal Valestra smiles and sweats being so close to a maniac like the Joker*

The Joker(says nice and then evil):That's it! That's what I want to see. A nice big..smile!

Bruce Wayne: It doesn't mean I don't care anymore. I don't want to let you down, honest, but... but it just doesn't hurt so bad anymore. You can understand that, can't you? Look, I can give money to the city - they can hire more cops. Let someone else take the risk, but it's different now!
[thunder and lightning]
Bruce Wayne: Please! I need it to be different now. I know I made a promise, but I didn't see this coming. I didn't count on being happy.

Andrea Beaumont: [enters] Maybe they already have. Maybe they sent me.

Batman: Your father's dead, isn't he? You came into town early to get Chuckie Sol, so you could shift the blame to your father if necessary.
Andrea Beaumont: They took everything, Bruce! My father, my friends, my life, you! I'm not saying it's right, or even saying... but it's all I have left. So either help me, or get out of the way!
Batman: You know I can't do that.
Andrea Beaumont: Look what they did to us! What we could have had! They had to pay!
Batman: But Andy... what will vengeance solve?
Andrea Beaumont: If anyone knows the answer to that, Bruce, it's you. edit »

I saw this in theaters when I was 3 years old and I was amazed by all of the amazing fight scenes,the amazing police chase,and the many things that were never done in the series. ...Continue »

what happens in this movie is unreal the design and every thing was amazing even thought it's follow up movie subzero was ok. but batman mask of phantasm was the best animated movie of batman:tas but everyone is open to there own opinion ok done. ...Continue »
