After the Batmobile is virtually destroyed, Batman seeks the help of the mechanic that designed it. Unfortunately, the Penguin has located the mechanic and has plans to "fix" Batman's car.

This episode, along with "Birds Of A Feather" was released on VHS as The Adventures Of Batman & Robin: The Penguin. Later it was paired up with the VHS The Adventures Of Batman & Robin: Poison Ivy (consisting of "Eternal Youth" and "House And Garden") on DVD.

The logo on Batman's chest in Earl's flashback references Bruce's costume in Batman: Year One establishing that the flashback occurs early in Bruce's crime-fighting career.

LOOK CLOSE: When Batman meets Earl in his old Batmobile, a wanted poster with Batman's silouette flies by. He is wanted with a $200,000 reward.

Look Hard: When the Penguin reads the "1 Bat 4U" license plate, its says "The Dark Deco State" on the bottom. "Dark Deco" refers to the stylized looks of the environment on Batman: TAS.

Batman: Earl! He kept saying "basement". It's a racing term. When drivers crash, they say they've gone down in the basement. He was trying to warn us!
