The story takes place in the B-DaWorld, which is a world where spherical objects have special powers. Ever since ancient times, people in the B-DaWorld have been using B-Daman marble-shooters in sport and to resolve conflicts. The storyline revolves around the young boy, Yamato Delgado, who has been bestowed the most powerful B-Daman, Cobalt Blade. Yamato, who was raised by cats until he was five, has only dreamt of playing the official sport of the B-DaWorld, B-Daman.

Little does he know that all of that is about to change. Because Yamato was chosen to receive the legendary B-Daman, Cobalt Blade, only he has the skills needed to harness its power. Join Yamato and his friends on their journey as they learn the sport of B-Daman, the value of friendship, and have lots of fun along the way. And perhaps even be able to save the B-DaWorld from the evil Shadow Alliance!

Character Guide:

Yamato - Raised by cats until he was five, is the hero of this story. His only dream in life is to play B-Daman and become the B-DaChampion. With his legendary B-Daman, Cobalt Blade, he may very well end up doing just that. Later in the show, he gets two more B-Daman! Cobalt Saber & Cobalt Saber Fire!


Gray - Being the tough guy in the series, he has tried to steal Cobalt Blade, but has failed each time. Realizing the true power of Cobalt Blade, he's befriended Yamato in an effort to stop the Shadow Alliance with his B-Daman, Chrome Zephyr. Later in the show, he gets two more B-Daman! Chrome Raven & Chrome Raven Cyclone!


Terry - From Japan with a Scottish accent, Terry is more of a ninja type, so he stays hidden. He befriends Yamato but, he has a feisty rivalry with Yamato. His B-Daman is Wing Ninja. Later in the show, he gets two more B-Daman! Wing Kaiser & Yokujinmaru (English name not found yet)!


Bull - A kid with an evil side, Bull befriends Yamato while trying to resist putting his B-Daman, Helio Breaker, into his hands. When Helio Breaker is in his hands, his red-haired evil side is unleashed, while also becoming stronger and more meaner than his black-haired evil side.


Enjyu - He's a member of the Shadow Alliance, and he has big plans for Yamato, especially with his B-Daman, Lightning Kahn, at his side. He receives Blazing Kahn, a replica of the Battle Core System, as a reward from the Shadow Alliance. Later, he also gets Lightning Knight.


Wen & Li - Being two Shadow Alliance members, their power is depended on their cheating. Wen & Li do whatever it takes to win, even cheating! Their B-Damans are Red Dragon Rekuso, and Blue Dragon Bakuso. When combined, they form Bakurekuso. They also get Red Dragon Koryuo & Blue Dragon Soryuo!

  I found this website that makes custom dolls, costumes, etc. http://www.setsunakou.com/index2.html They have a B-Daman category in their plushies/dolls section which has Wen and Li from Fire Spirits. Other characters can be made too. They just need pictures of them.   I'm talking about all the anime shows that are based on games. To all the fans of this genre, how in the name of Jesus can you guys believe that by playing toy cars, riding bikes, playing game cards, shooting fake cannon balls you can save the world???? This entire genre is stupid!!!! And Battle B-Daman is the worst. The main guy has whiskers!!!! Wth is this???? Is he supposed to be a cat???? Also I know I've asked this before but how in the name of Jesus can a villain taking over the world by playing B-daman????? If Naruto didn't disgust me so much I would give this show a lower score than Naruto for sure.

  Just another one of those uh... I dunno... anime shows based on some kind of merchandise... hide « show »

  I'm getting tired of these anime shows where the characters play some kind of game, and of course, the main characters pretty much never lose... except once in a while just to create drama, but sure enough, they'll re-challenge that opponent and win. Anyhow, I only watched part of one episode of this show, and it was so cheesy... the "villain" was like... shooting marbles at the little "playing area", thus destroying it, and then it was up to Yamato or whatever his name is to stop the fiend... using his own marbles, of course. The only type of these shows I enjoyed for a while was Yu-Gi-Oh!, because you could actually play the game almost exactly like they do on the show... the other shows tend to be exaggerated and suped-up versions of the games, with magic powers and determination that can defeat even the most advanced foes.

  Depicting and revolving the history of intire world around a game is pretty good.They have history,plot,action all of that revolving around a game.Characters are pretty good story is brilliant game is awesome though the fights are too short.
  It is realy funny because Cobalt Blade(most wanted B-Da item??)is given to aboy that only just started playing the game(like in beyblade when Tyson get's a sacred bit beast)

  this is one of my FAVOURITE cartoons today but aint on anymore. at first i didn't like it but i saw it down asda and brought one, now im a member of the fan club, its such a creative game to play and so addicting buyiing and upgrading your armour,itsCLASS hide « show »

  WOW This Show is AWESOME! Ever since I Started watching this show a month ago, i thought, Wow, I Had no idea how good these episodes were! So by now I look on the internet and tried my best to find the DVD's... Nobody has them...
  So now, the first season is about to end in about 2-3 weeks and starting the second season which is called- Battle B-Daman Fire Spirits!
  So now I have to get both seasons, somehow... i looked on torrent sites and got almost one full episode but if you know how torrents are, they will more likely stop downloading, but my favorite line in that episode was, "I was raised by cats, i did everything like a cat, Until i was five anyway!"LOL!
