Baltar: I'm counting on you, Spectre.
Spectre: I know and may I say it is a distinct honor to serve the illustrious Baltar. You are a veritable....
Lucifer: (off to one side) Oh, feldercarb.... (edit)
Starbuck: (slung over walking Cylon's shoulder) Hey! Take it easy, will ya?
Cylon: These humanoids are not well constructed. They damage easily.
Starbuck: At least we don't rust!
Cylon: Silence! (edit)

Trivia

The top of the Cylon hierarchy, the Imperious Leader, is the only biological Cylon. According to Glen Larson's novelisation of the BG pilot, the Cylons did not want to stay with a fixed eternal leader who could not change. They solved this problem by having the Imperious Leader the sole biological component in their hierarchy - Biological body with a Cylon brain. Lucifer, as noted above, is a member of the IL series - perhaps this series is the one from which Imperious Leaders are chosen. (edit)
Goof: In the opening scene, the canopy of Starbuck's viper is not fully lowered while in space flight, leaving a wide gap under its starboard side that would have allowed his air supply to be instantly sucked out into the vacuum of space. (edit)
It is apparent that there is hierarchy in the Cylons with the IL series at the top followed by the gold plated Cylons and the silver plated cylons at the bottom. (edit)
Clips from episode are shown prior to opening narration and credits. (edit)

Miri:
The young girl's name recalls the Star Trek episode Miri, which also dealt with a group of ungoverned, tribalistic children. (edit)
