After installing a hidden camera in the Predacon base, the Maximals watch them destroy themselves up during a power-struggle between Terrorsaur and Megatron. Investigating, they find no signs of life, so it looks like they won, and can go back to Cybertron with salvaged parts from the remains of the Predacon ship. Add a recap »

  • When Optimus states that hes going to retrieve Dinobot he is in beast mode then transforms but in the previous scene he was already in robot mode. edit »
  • When Dinobot gives Cheetor a speech about Tartantulas, the eyes on his beast mode head (his chestplate) are missing. edit »
  • Dinobot's chestpeice is patterned oddly during the scene where the Maximals are watching the Predacon "revolt". edit »
  • When this episode originally went onto VHS, the scene of Megatron and Terrorsaur arguing before shooting the energon was cut. edit »
  • Tigatron: I cannot sit here while my comrades battle the enemy! Tigatron, maximize! (Transforms)
Rhinox: Back to your seat, soldier!
    Tigatron: But -
Rhinox: I SAID SIT! We're taking this thing to Cybertron and I need everyone to do it! Rattrap, take astro navigation. Tigatron, bring the autoguns online, Optimus is going to need some firepower. MOVE!
Tigatron: Yes, sir! (salutes) edit »
  • Rhinox: "Good thing we got that camera up when we did..."
Rattrap: "What's this 'we' stuff? It was MY fuzzy butt on the line out there!!" edit »
  • Rattrap: Heh-heh-hey! It's Tigatron the Barbarian!! edit »
  • Rattrap: Man, it's your fault I ain't kicking back on Cybertron right now, you over grown stinky iguana!
Dinobot: Hmph, I have done the planet a favor. edit »
  • Dinobot: Wait! Down in the sky! Is it a bird?
    Rhinox: Maybe a plane!
Rattrap: Naw. It's Optimus! edit »
  • Various: Is it a bird? Maybe a plane.
The next to last scene, in which Optimus saves the Axalon, is a subtle nod to the classic Superman series of comics, TV shows, and movies. Dinobot, Rhinox, and Rattrap even quote what is arguably the most memorable statement of this series. Also, the music that follows with Optimus setting the ship down is an allusion to Superman. edit »
  • Dinobot: "Alas, poor Tarantulas, I knew him Cheetor"
Dinobot's quote is a paraphrase of one of the more famous lines in the play Hamlet, by William Shakespeare. Not familar with the act and scene, but the line goes, "Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him, Horatio." edit »
