Beatrice Boepple was born in Bennington Vermont to the late Paul Boepple, a Swiss-born conductor, choral director and music teacher, and Joan Stanley-Baker, a renown Asian art historian. Beatrice lived in Japan as a young girl, and has since spent considerable time abroad traveling and living in Taiwan, Canada and India. Beatrice graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the theater program at the University of Victoria and soon after began a successful acting career in Vancouver, British Columbia. After nearly a decade performing in live theater, radio, TV and film, in the early 90's sheMore elected to move to India and spent two-years studying meditation, yoga and doing volunteer work on a mobile hospital. Upon her return to the U.S., Beatrice had a stint on Wall Street as the Director of Corporate Advertising for a Fortune 500 financial firm before starting a family and moving to the Hudson Valley Region of upstate New York. In 1999, while pregnant with her first child, Beatrice moved behind the camera, spending time in Taos New Mexico, writing, filming and co-producing a documentary film. Her first film completed, and her passion for film editing and production now fueled, Beatrice teaches Yoga and mentors her two young sons while contemplating her next documentary production.
