Being able to watch the series on dvd I noticed that they cut corners when editing. When Vincent runs to save Catherine they use the same scenes. If you look closely he wears different garments under his cloak in each scene. When he is reading in the whisper tunnel it is almost always the same for each episode. One scene that caught my eye was in Masques when Vincent is getting ready to go to the Ball and he puts his hand on Fathers shoulder if you look closely he is not wearing his prosthetic claw.

They had some actors come back to the show playing different characters. Robert Factor played (Frank Garza) in A Beast Within. He also played the roll of Nick an investigator working on Catherine's murder.

Don Stark played the stalkey guy who kidnapped Catherine in Once Upon A Time In New York City. He also came back to play the part of (Edie) Charles the Dragon man's brother in Brothers.

The late Robert Pastorelli was a guest in the roll of (Vick Ramos) on Everything is Everything. He also came back to play Tony Perotta in Impossible Silence.

Did they run out of actors to play these rolls

They really should know better this was a female dominated audience (we notice everything)

Me too! I do not hold the flaws against them. I love the show for the content and what it represents.

It wasn't the only show to recycle actors/scenes; take Airwolf, another favourite of mine from the 80s (I know - completely contrasts with the world of BATB!). I lost track of how many times the same helicopter crashed into the same mountain, or how often they stuffed up by having the characters climb into the helicopter wearing ordinary clothes that amazingly transform into flightsuits But, as they say, love is blind, and it's easy to ignore these tiny flaws and just get on with the business of enjoying the show

Most shows do this. They use what's called Stock Footage. It saves money in the long run because they don't have to keep re-shooting similar scenes. It just gets obvious when it's a show you watch frequently and very closely. I've noticed it most on Knight Rider and Battlestar Galactica, but you see it a lot on this one too... how many times do they use the same shot of Vincent riding atop the subway car?
