Amanda: Ah.. that explains it, let me guess...you're in that stage where you'd walk on broken glass for a cigarette.
Becker: I'd walk on my tongue on broken glass for a cigarette. (edit) Becker: You could finish college.
Reggie: Oh, right, go back to college at my age? I'd be real popular, I could buy the beer. How pathetic would that be?
Becker: No, what would be pathetic is if you and I were sitting here ten years from now having this same conversation.
Reggie: Oh, God! I don't know. I'll think about it.
Becker: Well, I didn't say it would be easy, but nothing worthwhile in life ever is... too fortune cookie?
Reggie: Kinda
Becker: Yeah... (edit) Becker: I just got through examining a naked eighty-year-old woman. A lesser man'd be shooting smack by now.
(edit) Becker: Hey, Sprockets, smoke it or swallow it, but get it the hell out of my face! (edit) Jake: I'm blind.
Amanda: And yet you're still staring at my breasts.
Jake: Sorry, creature of habit.

When Jake said that he wanted to join in on Becker and Amanda's "lunch", Reggie had just left to get the motor and there was at least two people still eating in the diner, why would Jake want to leave the diner and go get "lunch" with Becker and Amanda? (edit)

Becker: He blames telelvision? You know, what about all the violence that happened before we had television? I suppose the Spanish Inquisition came off a bad episode of 'Gilligan's Island.'

Gilligan's Island was an American TV sitcom which aired on CBS from 1964 to 1967. The show was centered around a group of people who were stranded on a deserted island. (edit)
