One of the first segments in this episode describes how Keith met Townshend, Daltry, & Co. at their gig in Bath, England. Keith walked up and said "I can play drums better than 'im", and then proceded to destroy the hapless, unnamed drummer's kit. The running joke is that they never officially told him he had the job, and so he was filling in for fifteen years. More than just Keith's famous exploits, (driving his Rolls Royce into his swimming pool; passing out while onstage in San Francisco; throwing televisions off hotel balconies), we are shown more about his amazing drumming abilities, and his zest for life. Interviewed are bandmates, friends and family, including Dougal Butler, Keith's personal assistant, who wrote a stirring biography about him. Also, Keith's last girlfriend, Annette Hunt, granting her first interview since Keith's death, describes his final days.
