When the Rust Bucket exploded, that was the end of the Rust Bucket 1. Even Upgrade couldn't put it back together again. (edit) Look Closely: At the very end of the movie, you see something in the air forming, then turning into a red star flying away, which is probably Vilgax's ship. (edit) Running Gag: Principal White is looking for a particular key in his giant key-chain. (edit) When the Omnitrix times out in the movie, the timing-out beeping is faster than in the cartoon series. (edit) All the Plumbers in the movie wear safety vests, instead of the iconic blue nano-suits from the cartoon series. (edit)

Eon: Appearance and Character
Eon seems partially based off Darth Vader, one of the primary villains of the original Star Wars trilogy. Examples are his dark appearance, his mask and when Eon kills one of the aliens who served him for its failure. Christian Anholt, the actor who plays Eon, also openly stated he was a Star Wars fan of Darth Vader. (edit)
