Ben: (on acting) It’s a really tough life decision because it goes up and down. Show business can be as hard as it is rewarding. (edit) Ben: (asked if growing up around actors gave him the acting bug) I did spend a fair amount of time on the set of Days Of Our Lives. I even did the Christmas show for several years. It probable spurred my acting on a bit, but the overall motivation, I think you’re born with it. I think it’s a passion that won’t go away. And I am sure it helped seeing what my dad was doing ervery day on Days. (edit) Ben: (asked if his father gave him acting advice) He definitely has. If I’m wondering about a certain acting choice or direction, he’s willing to give me a heads-up on it, whether I’m working on Daytime or any other project. Now though, it seems like we have more in common. (edit)
