The hip-hop song Lean Back (aka the Rockaway), by Fat Joe, was heard throughout the episode.
(edit)
Footage from a previous appearance by Ashlee Simpson on BWE was used by the producers to make it seem she was a guest panelist speaking about her "oops" incident on Saturday Night Live. Actually her lines were dubbed in.
(edit)
Lil John made an appearance as a panelist with his posse The East Side Boys.
(edit)
Right before the "Closing Video" William Hung sang the traditional Auld Lang Syne, oddly enough on key.
