Dr. Mamon has now transformed himself into a perfect human. To do this, he combined his own genetic structure with that of betterman. Also, the fight between Algernon and Kankel has started which causes the death toll to continue to rise.
Akamatsu Industries continued search for Hinoki has led them to ModeWarp headquarters. There, they see 12 robots that are ready to attack if they try to enter. When they try to enter, the neuronoid of Keita, Sakura, and Akamatsu are surrounded and shot down. What will the team do now?
Hinoki is captured by Dr. Mamon. He uses her as a bait to capture Betterman. Will Betterman take the bait? And will Akamatsu Industries save Hinoki?
With the defeat of Brahman, the team can now relax for the time being. Four new neuronoids arrive to help them in their rescue operation. Then, an unfortunate turn of events turned these helpful robots against them. Can they beat these new robots? Or will Betterman save them?
With the defeat of Brahman, Dr. Mamon's plan is now a disaster. He now decides to move back to the heart of the city. Also, a killer of Somniums is on the loose. At the same time, the fighting has now caught up to Keita, and he has a nervous breakdown while in control of Kakuseijin. Could this breakdown have disastrous consequences for the group?
The Akamatsu Industries team finally arrive to the room where Dr. Mamon is waiting for them. In the room, they find out why Kaede is so important. Now that Dr. Mamon has accessed the power of Brahma, he can finally set his plans into action. Will this new form make him capable of beating the priest? Or is there an even stronger force lurking in the shadows?
With all the Superhuman Federation has done to them, Akamatsu Industries is finally ready to fight. The team attacks but leaves Hinoki and Keita behind for they fear for their safety. Is Hinoki and Keita's position really safe? Or were they safer going with their friends?
Now that the Akamatsu Industries personal has returned to normal, they head off the Mode Warp to gather information and plan their next movements. Meanwhile, Keita and Hinoki are at school finishing the funhouse, but end up lost in the hall of mirrors. Akamatsu and the rest are haunted by their own reflections and much of their past and true feelings are revealed. Even Lamia and his companion Seeme square off against themselves.
Now that Keita and Hinoki's nightmares has gone away, they can finally enjoy some time off. They joined their classmates for a trip to the woods. Back at the base, the team is learning new transplant technique. They took a break and went to eat steaks. Then the team just started to act peculiar. Is this another attack from the Superhuman Federation? And can Keita and Hinoki save their friends?
Hinoki and Keita are still on their date. They head to the beach were Hinoki grew up. Once there, Hinoki closes her eyes and puckers her lips. Keita has been waiting for this for a long time now, and kisses her back. In the middle, he realizes that he just kissed his best friend, Ushii. Then, an alarm went off and Keita wakes up. He heads to school and sees his classmates are trying to kill him, but before he got too scared, he wakes up again. What is happening to Keita? Is he the only one experiencing this?
Yanagi, experiencing nightmares, runs over the garage door of Akamatsu Industries. In there, Kaede was able to jump in the truck that Yanagi was driving. He brought the truck to an abandoned warehouse where they were attacked by three neuronoids. What will happen to Kaede and Yanagi? Meanwhile, Betterman Lamia is being criticized by one of the members of his kind. He says that Betterman is protecting Keita and Hinoki too much. What will this person do to Betterman? And will Betterman continue to protect Hinoki and Keita?
With the Kakuseijin out of gas, Keita asks Hinoki if she would go on a date with him and she said yes. Meanwhile, the team was able to figure out that the things that are happening so far do have something in common, and it was Dr. Umezaki. Back to the date, they went to a noodle house, and then they looked at some caves. The caves did something to Hinoki so she decided to leave. The two went to Hinoki's old house where Keita finally makes his move. But before he could finally do it, a strange man appears. Who is this man? What did the caves do to Hinoki? And what will the team do now that they now Dr. Umezaki is connected to the strange things that are happening around them?
Now that the Akamatsu team finished taking care off the insects that attacked them, they are again faced with another challenge. Now, a scent is causing them not to think clearly. Will Betterman save them? Or is he also in some kind of danger?
Supposedly, Dr. Umezaki was creating alternative food supplies in his lab but instead he has grown a deadly insect army. The doctor also has an insect that will turn someone into a zombie if it crawls to a person's brain. He is about to use it on Miyako Asami so that she could help him with his insect army. Will anyone save Miyako before she is turned into a zombie? And who is the target of the doctors insect army?
Now that Akamatsu industries has severed ties with MegaWarp, they prepare to leave to but a problem arises. They are missing Miyako so the team decides to wait. They are escorted to Dr. Umezaki's lab. On the way a dragon appears and destroys the first plane. Then it sets it sights on Akamatsu's plane. What will Akamatsu industries do? And where did this dragon come from?
A useless junk becomes a lifesaver when the scent replicating machine helped Akamatsu industries survive an attack carried out by worms. After the attack, the company looses its contract from MegaWarp and Miyako tells Akamatsu that 2 new head divers are arriving and that they should give the nueronoids back to Megawarp. Then Miyako was called by Dr. Umezaki for a consult but was shocked to hear that the doctor is more interested in Betterman. What are the true intentions of this doctor? And is Miyako a part of this plan?
Everyone is releaved that they are back at base. Li-chan and Yamajii ate dinner but was disrupted by an old man who hands them a gift. It was a sweet scented bell. Then their dinner was interrupted once again by a power outage. The two checks the backup generator but finds worms pouring out of every hole. How will they stop the worms? And how about the others still trapped in the building?
Still at the hospital, Keita rescues Sakura and sees a pool filled with bodies. Then Hinoki arrives but she has been poisoned by the doctors. Even more problem arrise when the doctors are standing right behind Hinoki. The doctors are now out of poison but summons the thing that is responsible. Betterman arrives and saves them by transforming into his new form, Aqua. Another problem occurs when Betterman defeats the enemy but Hinoki, Sakura, and Keita were doused by the poison. How will Betterman save them? And where did the fleeing doctors go and how?
Keita and Hinoki visit Sakura in the hospital. However, the doctors seem to have been affected by a poison and are now out to kill them. Sakura's reveals her past involving her physical weakness.
Keita and the gang try to escape the Ijanta Caves, but the Behemoth, after defeating Betterman, still stands in their way. Betterman returns and turns into a new stronger form: Forte.
Keita and the gang go to India. They are then attacked by a monster known as the Behemoth, whose power is so great that even Betterman may not be strong enough to defeat.
While on an operation, Shou and Hinoki's mech, the Tiron, are attacked by machines that are being secretly controlled by someone. One of those machines is Keita and Kaede's mech, the Kakuseijin.
Keita, Hinoki, and Asami fly overseas, but everyone else on the plane mysteriously disappear. Keita and the gang get attacked by possessed crash test dummies.
Keita learns more about the Akamatsu Corporation and the mysterious figure Betterman.
Keita Aono goes to school one day, and his class happens to have a new student. That student is a girl named Hinoki Sai, Keita's childhood friend. Later, Keita gets himself lost in an amusement park where many people have mysteriously died. Keita catches up with Hinoki, and the two are attacked by a large monster. Who will save them? The being known as Betterman.
