Beverley was born in Listowel Ontario and moved to Vancouver when she was in her early 20's.
On the west coast she was able to combine her two careers, acting and singing. She starred in the Canadian series Hope Island and was a regular on Bordertown and Mysterious Ways. Beverley is also a well known singer on the western coast of Canada, releasing her own c.d. called "Yellow Dress".
