In the wake of the carjacking, Dylan becomes obsessed with self-defense. He frightens Kelly by constantly going to the shooting range. Jim and Cindy believe that Brenda and Stuart are spending too much time together. Mr. and Mrs. Carson wholeheartedly approve of the relationship. They invite the Walshes to their mansion for brunch. Brandon's sociology professor is impressed by his work and asks him to tutor a basketball star. Jackie is furious when Mel brings his girlfriend along on his weekend with Erin. Kelly and David take sides in their parents' dispute. Dan is afraid to see Andrea in public because he fears his colleagues' reaction. Andrea finally takes the initiative and kisses him in the middle of the student union.
