If you had to give each season a grade out of five stars, what would you give them? For me it would be: Season 1: 5 stars Season 2: 5 stars Season 3: 5 stars Season 4: 4.5 stars Season 5: 4 stars Season 6: 4 stars Season 7: 4 stars Season 8: 4.5 stars Season 9: 3.5 or 4 stars Season 10: 3.5 stars Its not that I don't like the later seasons, but there are just some storylines that don't work so well. |

You guys are so biased because its probably one of your favorite shows, if not your fave lol. I think alot of people will do the same thing. I definetly wouldnt give season 1, 5 stars it was pretty boring. Id give it like 3/5...2 Id give like 3.5-4/5 and season 3 (im halfway through it) ill give 4-5/5 The rest Ill come back for when I watch it lol

^ You're right stellarchick. Thanks for pointing out the bias. I guess I didn't realize it. I updated my ratings, and I think it's more accurate now. However, I still gotta be a little biased though, LOL.

Haha no problem, I just saw a lot of "5"s with you and them I was like come on ! lol. Id probably do the same thing with the OC (my fave). I know alot of other people will do the same thing, so no biggie

You crack me up, lol! Honestly, season 10 was a bit better than season 9, even if Jason was totally not in it. They had actual storylines that didnt revolve around the damn Matt/Kelly/Dylan/Gina thing the whole season. Id have to give season 9 1/5 star and season 10 like 2/5 It was just a BIT better. And considering Id probably wouldnt go any lower than 3 for any of the other seasons, its still pretty bad. |

Season 10 wasn't the worst ever. People don't like it because most people don't like Dylan-Kelly. But if you really watch the season, they actually do a good job attempting to explain the whole soulmate business that people definately didn't get in seasons 3-5. However, I tried to rate the seasons competitively against the other seasons, and it just doesn't stack up against the monster seasons like 3-6, where nearly every episode rocked the house, particularly seasons 4 and 5. Also, upon re-watching season 6 recently, I've come to rather enjoy it, even after the Dylan Exit. There were some good episodes. That christmas episode from that year, where Cindy comes home, that is probably my favorite christmas episode, mostly because of the Steve-Rush storyline. The Turn back the Clock new years episode was a riot too. Then you have the amazingly good Kelly gets coked up storyline. However, once that ended, the Tara episodes began. How awful?

Oh, I know that 9 or 10 doesnt compare to the other seasons, Im just saying between eachother. Most people just say they like 9 more because of the 3 epiosdes Val and Brandon are still in, but I'd rather have them gone the whole time and have semi-decent storylines then have them there for 3 episodes and have this triangle/square whatever for 24 episodes. |

I agree I actually really enjoyed season 9 and 10 and yes I am a Dylan-Kelly fan BUT i am also a Kelly-Brandon fan too. The show is very different these two seaosns, but I still thought the storylines were pretty interesting and I enjoyed them! I would have enjoyed to have some Walshes also since the show was about them...but te show changed over the seasons, just like people do and I thought they did a nice job! |

Season 9 and 10 are equally bad for me because season 9 THE WHOLE thing had to do with the Kelly/Dylan/Gina/Matt 'square' and season 10 had some awful storylines that either didnt make sense or were sooo completly unrealistic it was attrocious. Like Jack McKay being alive all this time and living in Arizona- who the he11 came up with that?! Leave Jack McKays legacy alone! Anyway I have to finish 5 on soapnet and see 6-8 again before I can come on here and rate those but 1= 3/5 2= 4/5 3= 5/5 4= 5/5 5= 4/5 (so far I havent been too impressed except for the intro of Val, PS I love you parts 1 and 2 and like 2 other eppies..otherwise it hasnt been very good I think.) 9 = 0/5 (honestly, like I said, there was nothing interesting at all!) 10= 1.5/5 (like I said, bad storylines. The only good thing was Steve/Janet I thought) |

I definitly agree about Jack McKay being alive. I thought that was SOOO STUPID it kind of made the whole dylan spending a portion of his life searching for the killer seem pointless...and dylan took to it so well,..im sorry but if i found out my dad had moved on without telling me he was still alive i dont think id have been so understanding not for along time atleast!!!
I havent seen seasons 5-8 so after i watch all of those ill come back to rate them! |
