The Walshes plan to spend the holidays in Hawaii, but their plane experiences mechanical problems. They are forced to fly back to Los Angeles and make an emergency landing. Dylan receives a surprise visit from Suzanne Steele, his father's former lover, and her 12-year-old daughter. The duo recently lost its home in Iowa to a flood, and decided to take a road trip as a distraction. Suzanne reveals that Erica is Dylan's half-sister. He is initially skeptical, but decides to give them the benefit of the doubt. Kelly boycotts Mel's Christmas party, but he comes through for her when she has a dental emergency. David gives Donna the cold shoulder for refusing to sleep with him. He breaks up with her on Christmas day. Andrea worries about proper protocol as she prepares to attend Midnight Mass with Jesse's family.

This Christmas
The Christmas Song by Aaron Neville
Jingle Bells
Silver Bells
Angels We Have Heard on High (performed by church choir)
Jingle Bell Rock
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (sung by cast) (edit) By now it is quite obvious Gabrielle Carteris is pregnant. She wears oversized shirts and sweaters to try to cover her baby bump. (edit) Brenda tells Brandon that he isn't allowed to study for finals during their trip to Hawaii for Christmas. Apparently, California University has the world's oddest schedule. Brandon clearly mentions that CU operates on "semesters," but no school I've ever heard of has ever had finals right after getting back from Christmas break--all finals are complete by the time Christmas rolls around. (edit) Brenda reveals her nervousness about flying to Brandon as they are waiting to take off. She and Brandon are having a conversation with Cindy and Jim when Brandon mentions that Brenda was so busy talking that she didn't even notice that the plane had taken off. She leans over to look at the window and it is obvious that she's not wearing a seatbelt. If the plane had really been about to take off, she would have been belted in. (edit)

Somewhere in the World It's ChristmasPerfect "Well written" My favorite part in this episode is where David broke up with Donna. I think that was the best part. I think David and Kelly make a cute family as brothers and sisters when they found out that Kelly's mom and David's dad were talking and dating. Continue » Posted Nov 10, 2006 9:02 pm PST |
