As nearly perfect as a tv sitcom can be, this episode is as suberbly written and expertly performed. One has to wonder, though, what was Sam thinking when suggesting the Tates come over their house for dinner?......
(edit)
This is Kasey Rogers' first appearance as Louise Tate. Darrin finds out the truth about Tabitha in this episode. Filmed on July 6, 1966

Larry (refusing to be labeled drunk): Pick a straight line, any line, anywhere and I'll walk it for you.
Darrin: Why don't you walk from where you spilled the champagne to where you burned the table? (edit) Samantha: If Mother wanted to ruin the party, it would be raining in the living room. (edit)

Tabitha is seen knocking the pony to the floor. However, in the next scene, without anyone picking it up, it is seen on the bar-window table.
(edit)
When Tabitha calls the pan to her from the wall, her tray is bare. When the pan gets to her, there is a cookie on the tray.
