The episode begins with Tyson stuffing his face in a restaurant in Russia. Ray and Kenny look depressed, and Ray tells Tyson not to act like nothing's happened. Kenny also said that Max is with his mum in the airport.
Tyson tells them to give it up, and that the team will have to do without Kai.
The scene changes to show Max in the airport with his mum, and his mum says that she will analyze all the data from the demolition boys' battles and compile it for the Bladebreakers, in hopes that it will help them win.
The buffet people throw Tyson out for eating too much, and Tyson is on the bed, commenting on how weird it feels to be holding Kai's Dranzer. The bell rings and a guy in a black suit tells the Bladebreakers to follow them, also telling them that his orders come from Kai.
Tyson gets excited, and says that Kai is going to apologize.
On the helicopter, Ray ponders. He wonders if Kai really thinks that the Bladebreakers will accept him as a member of the team, after all he's done to harm them. He also wonders what Kai is thinking right now.
Landing in Lake Balkov, the Bladebreakers minus Max rush to meet Kai, though the reunion is far from happy. Kai throws off his coat and challenges them to a match, nothing official, but he gets their bit beasts.
Kenny starts talking about how he always thought that Kai was a part of the team, even though he was a bit of a grouch.
Kai then replies that he never wanted to have anything to do with the Bladebreakers. Then he wonders where Max is.
Tyson interrupts him and the four start blading.
Kenny is the first to get eliminated; he has no bit beast. Then Ray summons Driger, but is quickly defeated by a number of combinations of bit beasts Kai used. Ray told Kai that it is wrong to use someone else's bit beast, but Kai just ignored him.
Back at the airport, Judy gives Max an upgraded version of Draciel. Emily runs up to Judy and Max showing them a picture of the Bladebreakers and Kai, and Max decides to go join them. He takes off on Judy's private jet while Emily wishes them the best of luck.
Tyson's Dragoon versus off against Black Dranzer and Black Dranzer quickly wins. Just as Kai is about to take Tyson's bit beast, Max comes down and launches Draciel. Kai does some trash talking about how Draciel is upgraded, but will not make a difference.
To his surprise, Kai is unable to take Draciel out as easily as the rest. Max tells him that it takes more than an army of evil bit beasts and a boatload of overconfidence to beat the Bladebreakers. Then he tells Tyson to launch while Kai has left himself open. Tyson says that Dragoon's toast, and Max grins, saying that he didn't mean Dragoon. He launches Dranzer and Kai winces as Dranzer attacks.
Tyson assumes Kai is ashamed that Dranzer has joined the battle. Kai pushes it aside and tries to fight again, but all the bit beasts shoot out of the blades and finally defeat Black Dranzer. The ice cracks and Tyson holds up his hand to help Kai.
Kai tells them to leave him alone while he drowns, but finally pushes all else aside and grabs hold of Tyson's hand, reuniting the Bladebreakers once again.
