Notes

Even though he doesn't speak and isn't named, Spencer is premiered in this episode. Watch for him in the scene when Tala is trying to get Voltaire to let him blade instead of Kai. He's playing some card game with Ian. (edit)

Quotes

add »
Tyson: Why is Kai demolishing his opponents blades? It's like... really mean! (edit)
(Everyone gasps)
Kenny: Kai's Beyblade! What do we do now? (edit)
Kenny: What did you say? It can't be over, Tyson!
Ray: Please don't give up!
Tyson: I said, it's over! (Crying) We're leaving.
Max: What? We can't go!
Ray: What about Kai?
Tyson: Kai's gone for good. He's gone for good. (edit)
Max: If you didn't make it, that's okay. Don't give up. We'll try again. We'll go in together! Tyson?
Tyson: No, it's over. (edit)
Mariah: Kai, I don't understand why you changed so much since the last time I saw you. You're cold and heartless. (edit)

Trivia

add »
In this episode, Boris refers to the bit beasts he's captured as "sacred spirits." In V-Force, Ozuma says that the only sacred spirits left in the world are the ones used by the Bladebreakers. (edit)
Emily gets all teary and asks Mariah for help getting her bit beast back. Quite a change of tone from the last time they met, when the two of them couldn't stand each other. (edit)
Mariah said she hates the Demolition Boyz and she'll never forget what he has done to the All-Starz. When she faced Kai, she told Kai that he shouldn't do that and blames him for what he did to the All-Starz. Mariah thinks she could beat Kai, but she lost the match and lost Galux. (edit)
Kevin says that he won't blade Kai, because he's too powerful with Black Dranzer. When did he find out 1) that Kai was with the D-Boyz, and 2) that he had an obscenely powerful bit beast called Black Dranzer? To cap it all off, the reason why he doesn't want to do it is because he doesn't want to lose his bit beast to Kai, but he doesn't know about that either . . . (edit)
