Best known for her role of the Peacekeeper Jenavian Charto on Farscape, Bianca Chiminello didn't think she would become an actress. Trained as a child to be a classical dancer, she turned to modeling at age 15. Just two years later she won the prestigious Ford Supermodel of the World Competition, which gave her more exposure in the modeling world.
Her work in modeling took her around Europe, using her image to promote many of the world's top designers. She would later return to her native Australia to take time off and study acting and working stage productions. Then in 2000 she after auditioning for the role of "The Princess" on the Science Fiction series Farscape, she was given a the more important love interest role as the questionably evil Jenavian Charto. Fans loved her as the character and she continued working roles in television. She later returned to her career in modeling in 2003, but still acts and will be taking her skills to the big screen in for the movie Japan as the female lead .
