Bianca Lawson, daughter of All My Children's Richard Lawson, was originally cast as Cordelia Chase in the spring of 1997 in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was actually cast in two television series at the same time, and both were prone to face cancellation. She turned down the role of Cordelia to star in Goode Behavior, a short-lived TV series that aired on UPN for a month. Producers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called her back in late 1997/early 1998 for the role of Kendra, the Slayer that replaces Buffy after she has died. This further complicates things on the show, because now there are two Slayers instead of one fighting the forces of evil in Sunnydale. Of course, if Bianca would have taken the role of Cordelia she would have had steady work for the next eight years. She has taken mostly television roles, appearing in Saved by the Bell: The New Class, My So-Called Life and Sister, Sister. Bianca has also appeared in the films Boltneck (1998), Bones (2000), The Feast of All Saints (2001), Save the Last Dance (2001), Breakin' All the Rules (2004), and more recently, Flip the Script (2005), Primevil (2006), Supergator (2006), Broken (2006), and Pledge This! Bianca lawson Is a very talented actor. She has even won an award for her fight scene in, "save the Last dance", the scene was shared with Julia stiles. I really liked her In Buffy the vampire slayer, she was really awesome as Kendra. I can't wait to see her new movie,"pledge this!". It sounds really cool! I wish her character on Buffy hadn't died, she and buffy would've made a nice team. I think Bianca will make more aweome movie too come and I can't wait to see whats next but I know she has proved herself to me.
